Since starting at CBTax a year ago, I have developed my professional career faster than I ever thought would be possible. The CBTax team pride themselves on practical application, academic development, and personal growth opportunities. I joined CBTax after finalising my degree in International Business Management, having no previous professional experience, and immediately became involved in the delivery of tax benefits for a broad scope of clients through client facing meetings, financial analysis, and client acquisition.
I began life at CBTax assisting in the delivery of Research and Development tax benefits alongside peers and senior management, however, CBTax are keen to develop everyone’s talents and provide a range of opportunities to excel both professionally and academically. As a result, I am now leading client facing meetings, calculating a broad scope of tax benefits, and completing end-to-end project deliveries from four to six figures across various sectors. While professional development within the workplace is a key driver in the up-skill approach found within CBTax, I also have access to a wealth of academic opportunities to develop my knowledge through industry leading qualification acquisition. I have successfully completed 3 ATT exams in my first year and will shortly commence my series of tuition to achieve a CTA qualification in the coming years.
My first year at CBTax has proven to be a fast paced and dynamic learning experience, one that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to begin a career in taxation.
