It is that time of year again where we at CBTax are looking to take on more Associates to complement our fast-expanding team. 2022 was our biggest ever Associate intake and we are hoping to better that for 2023.

To become a Tax Associate, no accounting and finance background is necessary. New Tax Associates will be fully supported during their studies towards gaining their ATT and CTA qualifications, whilst acquiring great hands-on experience working directly with our highly skilled team members, assisting them with their clients and innovation projects. At CBTax we fully support our Associates when studying for ATT and CTA qualifications, ensuring they are given ample assistance to qualify in the field of tax.

Aaliyah, Senior Associate, says: “Having graduated from university with a degree in Accounting and Finance, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in Tax. CBTax has continuously supported me throughout my career here and motivated me to work hard towards my recent promotion as a Senior Associate, by making me feel like a valued member of the team. I have been exposed to a range of difference sectors from cosmetics, engineering, construction and IT and have gained invaluable experience through writing technical narratives and working on costing analysis. CBTax has supported me with professional exams and I am due to sit my final ATT exam at the end of this month.”
Ben one of our newest Associates, says:
“Like many people my age this was my first full-time job after university. My first day began with me feeling nervous, waking up early to ensure I was on time, but I was quickly put at ease as everyone in the team made me feel welcome. I have quickly become a part of the team which was helped by the many social events at the firm. Within the first month I was contributing to meetings and assisting financial elements of R&D claims which would have not been possible without the training and support from the team at CBTax. The work atmosphere has given me the opportunity to grow on a personal and professional level. I am currently handling financial aspects of claims and gaining great exposure in client meetings.
